On February 3rd 2026, the 32nd International Mediterranean Tourism Market(IMTM) was held at the EXPO Tel Aviv. Israeli Tourism Minister Haim Katz attended China’s tourism promotion at the event, exchanged views with Minister Counselor Sun Zhaoyang and noted that both Israel and China are endowed with rich tourism resources. Minister Katz expressed the hope that the two sides would introduce more travel facilitation measures, strengthen tourism cooperation and promote people-to-people bonds. China Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, the Chinese Enterprises Association in Israel, CYTS Yaoyue Tourism Co., Ltd., Chengdu Dingwen Jinlv International Travel Agency, and representative for China-Israel tourism promotion also participated in the event.
