On March 19th,2014, Ambassador Gao Yanping met with Speaker of the Israeli Knesset Yuli-Yoel Edelstein in the Knesset. Counselor Dai Yuming and Ambassador Oded Ben-Hur, Senior Diplomatic Advisor to the Knesset were also present.

Ambassador Gao briefed him on the latest development of Sino-Israel relations and emphasized that due to the common efforts made by our two sides, the bilateral pragmatic cooperation has been brought fruitful benefits to two peoples.

Edelstein said that the Israeli Knesset attached great importance to the Israel-China friendly relations and the exchanges and cooperations between two countries' legislative branches.
