Ambassador Xiao Junzheng Met With Tali Carmi From eBookPro
2025-04-03 14:50

On 3 March 2025, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng met with Tali Carmi from eBookPro, a publishing house in Israel. Both sides had a friendly exchange on strengthening China-Israel book publishing cooperation.

Ambassador Xiao commended eBookPro for its contributions in promoting cultural exchanges between China and Israel, pointing out that books are important bridges for mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples. China is ready to work with Israeli publishers in an effort to translate and publish more excellent works in both languages, adding new highlights to the development of bilateral relations.

Carmi said that eBookPro highly values cooperation with its Chinese counterparts. In recent years, eBookPro has been committed to the Hebrew translation and publication of contemporary Chinese books, including Stories Told by President Xi Jinping, Concise Reader of Chinese Culture, The Overseas Journey of Chinese Ceramics, and Picture Books of National Museum of China. Those books have helped Israeli readers, especially the younger generation, understand the Chinese culture.
