On July 15th, Ambassador Gao Yanping was invited to luncheon with Mrs. Ruth Kahanoff, Deputy Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry. Mr. Yang Yonghong, head of political section of the Chinese Embassy, and Mr. Hagai Shagrir, Director of the Northeast Asia Department of the Israeli Foreign Ministry were also present.

Ambassador Gao exchanged in-depth views with Mrs. Kahanoff on China-Israel relations, regional situation as well as other issues of mutual interests.
