On July 20, 2026, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng led a delegation to visit Sheba Medical Center, Israel’s largest healthcare services, and met with the Center’s associate director Itai Pessach. The two sides exchanged views on promoting exchanges and innovation cooperation between China and Israel in the healthcare and medical sectors for the benefit of both peoples. Minister Counselor Qin Weidong of the Chinese Embassy, Nadav Ben Yosef, Director of Sheba Global & Resource Development, along with others, attended the meeting.
