On February 19, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng attended the Spring Festival celebration for Chinese students at the Technion. Professor Dani Raz, Senior Executive Vice President of the Technion, Ms. YokeTyng Frechtel from the Technion International and Qin Weidong, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Israel, also attended the event.

Chinese students and their Israeli friends played guitar and guzheng, performed singing and a lion dance, creating a festive and lively atmosphere. Xiao extended New Year greetings to the Chinese students at the Technion and in Israel, wishing them success in their studies and to serve the country with their knowledge in the new year.

During the Spring Festival, Minister-Counselors Liu Song, Sun Zhaoyang and Qin Weidong from the Chinese Embassy in Israel participated in the Chinese New Year celebrations for Chinese students at Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, etc.
