From 12th to 15th March, the Anhui Provincial Delegation headed by Mr. Ni Fake, the Vice Governor of the Province visited Israel. On March 14th, Ambassador Gao Yanping met with the delegation in her residence. Mr. Zhou Guolin, Science and Technology Counselor of the Embassy of China, was present.

Ambassador Gao briefed the delegation the friendly bilateral relations and prospects of Sino-Israel cooperation. She stressed that Israel has obvious advantages of technologies and innovation, the good momentum of economic development, and a strong willingness to cooperate with China. She hopes in 2012, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between China and Israel, Anhui Province should further strengthen pragmatic cooperation with Israel in various fields so as to promote the win-win relationship between two countries as well as the friendship of the two peoples.

Mr. Ni Fake introduced Ambassador Gao the latest scientific, agricultural, economic and social development of Anhui. He stressed that Anhui has a strong will to deepen the cooperation with Israel the fields of science and technology, medicine, agriculture and tourism. He emphasized that Anhui is willing to make more contribution for the friendship between the two countries.

During the visit, the delegation met with Ms. Mina Goldiak, the Deputy Chief Scientist of the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour. The delegation also visited a few companies including VANIR and AKOL and signed cooperative agreements with them respectively.
