On 12 May 2025, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng met with MK Dan Illouz, chairman of the Israel-China Friendship Group at the Knesset. They discussed the bilateral relations and exchanges between legislative bodies of the two countries.

MK Illouz said that Israel and China enjoy traditional friendship and huge potentials for cooperation in various fields. The government of Israel and the Knesset adhere to the one-China policy. The Israel-China Friendship Group at the Knesset stands ready to play an active role in deepening exchanges with the Chinese legislative body, and contribute to the continued growth of Israel-China Innovative Comprehensive Partnership.
