On 6 January 2026, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng met with MK Boaz Bismuth, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Knesset, to discuss China-Israel relations and the exchanges between legislative bodies of the two countries. Ambassador Xiao also explained on China’s principled position on the Taiwan question. MK Bismuth said that the Israeli side will remain committed to the one-China policy.
