On December 21,2025, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng attended the Annual Conference and Scholarship Award Ceremony of the Association of Former Residents of China and delivered a speech. Over 260 participants attended the event, including Mr.Yaki Klein, Chairman of the Association of Former Residents of China; representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises; members of the Association of Former Residents of China.

Ambassador Xiao Junzheng stated that the former Israeli residents in China serve as important witnesses and carriers of the friendship between the two countries and peoples. Looking ahead to 2026, he hopes that the Association of Former Residents of China will continue to play its role as a bridge and bond, and keep contributing to the friendship between the Chinese and Jewish people and to the China-Israel relations.
