On 4 December 2025, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng attended the SHENG Israel-Jiangsu Innovation Hub Briefing and the Israel High-Tech Project Roadshow Salon. Attendees included Edward Shapira, Ambassador from Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affair , Avi Luvton, Asia-Pacific Regional Director of the Israeli Innovation Authority , Ilan Maor, Chairman of the Israel China Chamber of Commerce, and over 40 representatives from Israeli enterprises.

Xiao Junzheng presented the guiding principles from the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, introduced the technological innovation achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and strategic deployment as regards achieving greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology and steering the development of new quality productive forces during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. And he stated that although geographically distant, China and Israel have highly complementary economies, with China offering vast market opportunities and immense potential for cooperation. He expressed hope that the SHENG Innovation Hub would support China-Israel innovation collaboration, enhance mutual understanding, and deepen cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, healthcare, and clean energy. By combining China's high-quality development with Israel's innovative strengths, the center aims to promote practical Sino-Israeli cooperation and advance bilateral relations, jointly contributing to global sustainable development.

The representatives from participating companies responded enthusiastically and expressed great anticipation for cooperation in China.
