Ambassador Gao Yanping Attends the Launch Event of New projects on Israel-China-India higher education and business R&D

On 26th February, Ambassador Gao Yanping was invited to attend the launch event of new projects on Israel-China-India higher education and R&D organized by the Israeli Ministry of Finance. Israeli Minister of Finance Yuval Steinitz and Minister of Education Gideon Sa'ar, Indian Ambassador to Israel, representatives from universities and major media attended the event.

Minister Steinitz and Minister Sa'ar introduced respectively Israeli scholarship projects for Chinese and Indian students, saying that Israel attaches great importance on relations with China and India, especially exchanges and cooperation in the fields of science and technology, education, economic and trade. It's believed that the projects will further promote the development of Israeli-Chinese and Israeli-Indian cooperative relations.

Ambassador Gao said that on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Israeli diplomatic relations, the projects launched by Israeli side would promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the field of higher education and R&D, contributing to the further development of bilateral friendly cooperative relations. Chinese government also provides scholarships for foreign students to study in China. It's believed that the joint efforts made by both sides would promote bilateral cooperation in various fields to a new level.
