Ambassador Zhan Yongxin attends 2nd Chinese Bridge - Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary Students in Israel

 

The annual global "Chinese Bridge"- Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary Students in Israel has kicked off on April 29. Chinese language learners from secondary schools across the country competed at Along high school in Ramat Hasharon and six of them won prizes.

Ambassador Zhan Yongxin attended and made a speech at the competition. Over 80 people, including directors, teachers and students from secondary schools across Israel watched the competition.

The contest consisted of 2 sessions, including a Chinese speech and a talent show. Throughout the 1hour competition, participants showed their Chinese language proficiency and competence. Eventually, Inbal, from Rishonim High School won the champion.

Launched in 2014, the "Chinese Bridge" project played an ever- growing role in promoting the study of Chinese language and culture.
