On February 24th, 2014, Ambassador Gao Yanping met with Mr. Nadav Tamir, Political Advisor to Israeli President Shimon Peres. Mr. Dai Yuming, Political Counsellor of the Embassy of China, Mr. Yang Yonghong, Head of the Political Section of the Embassy of China and Ms. Ofra Eshed, Advisor to Israeli President, Ms. Or Kornhauser, Senior assistant to Director General of the President's Office, were present.

Ambassador Gao spoke highly of the great efforts and important contributions that President Shimon Peres has made for the friendship between the two peoples and bilateral pragmatic cooperation, and briefed the latest development of the Sino-Israeli relations. Mr. Tamir emphasized that President Peres cared deeply about China and the Chinese people, spoke highly of China's great achievements, and was looking forward to visiting China at a convenient time to further promote the bilateral relations.
