From 31st October to 6th November, the Young Diplomats Delegation from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P.R. China, headed by Director-General Mr. Lin Songtian, visited Israel upon the invitation of Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Gao Yanping met with the delegation while Dr. Liu Li, Director of the Political section, was present.

Ambassador Gao introduced to the delegation the history and culture of Israel and the current Sino-Israeli relations and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, i.e. the situation in the Middle East, Sino-Israeli relations and diplomatic policy of China etc.

During the visit, the delegation held meetings with officials from Israeli Foreign Ministry, member of Knesset, experts and intellectuals, and joined the field tour to Israeli companies specializing on medicine, agriculture and high technology.
