On 23 April 2025, Chinese Ambassador Xiao Junzheng visited the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI), exchanging views with President Asher Cohen and Vice President Yossi Gal on strengthening cooperation in talent training and academic exchanges between China and Israel.

President Cohen offered a comprehensive introduction of HUJI. He stated that international exchanges and cooperation are very important to the university, and that HUJI is ready to continue strengthening cooperation with Chinese universities and relevant institutions.
