On 13 March 2025, Ambassador Xiao Junzheng attended the Iftar Dinner held by Jaljulia municipality upon invitation. The event was joined by over 60 participants, including Darwish Rabi, the mayor of Jaljulia, Jafar Farah, the founder and director of the Mossawa Center, as well as other foreign diplomats in Israel.

Mayor Darwish and Director Farah briefed the guests on the development of the Arab communities in Israel, sharing their vision to promote peaceful coexistence, close collaboration, and common prosperity between Jewish and Arab communities in the country.

Ambassador Xiao had cordial discussions with Mayor Darwish, Director Farah, and other attendees and had an in-depth understanding of the people, the society, and the development plans of Arab-majority cities in Israel.
