Notice on Issuing Visas with a Validity Period of up to 10 Years to Israeli National Passport Holder Applicants

To facilitate personnel exchanges between the two countries, and promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields, the People's Republic of China and the State of Israel have reached a reciprocal agreement on March 29, 2016, on issuing multi-entry visas to each other's citizens who travel for tourism, business, short-term visiting relatives or private matters, with a validity period of up to 10 years.

According to the arrangement, effective from November 11, 2016, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Israel will issue to the Israeli National Passport holder applicants multi-entry L, M, Q2 and S2 visa valid for up to 10 years while not exceeding the validity of the passport.

Document requirements are the same as before. Applicants may refer to the website of the Embassy (http://il.china-embassy.org/eng/lsfw/visa/t1071641.htm) on detailed information and submit the application through the Consular Department (Address: 219 Ben Yehuda St., Tel-Aviv 61060, Israel).

Visa Category

Description

L

Issued to those who intend to go to China as a tourist.

M

Issued to those who intend to go to China for commercial and trade activities.

Q2

Issued to those who intend to visit their relatives who are Chinese citizens residing in China or foreigners with permanent residence in China. The intended duration of stay in China is no more than 180 days.

S2

Issued to those who intend to visit their family members who are foreigners working or studying in China, or to those who intend to go to China for other private matters. The intended duration of stay in China is no more than 180 days.

"family members" refers to spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law.

The final interpretation of this notice is up to the Chinese Embassy in Israel.
