Notice on the Requirement Adjustment of the HS/HDC Code Application
2021-02-17 21:30

To protect the health and safety of passengers and aircrew, and further control the risk of transnational spread of COVID-19, the Chinese Embassy in Israel recommend travelers avoid all non-essential and non-urgent travels.

Starting from February 21st, 2021, passengers who have urgent need of travel please follow the guidelines and requirements listed below:

1.The Chinese Embassy in Israel will issue HS/HDC Codes for passengers traveling to China by direct flights only. The following documents should be uploaded when applying for the HS/HDC Codes:
(1)Negative nucleic acid (PCR) and IgM anti-body tests at medical institutions recognized by the Chinese Embassy in Israel ;
(2) Itinerary;
(3)Israel residence certificate (such as Israel ID, visa or entry stamp).

2.The Chinese Embassy in Israel WILL NO LONGER issue HS/HDC Codes for passengers who travel to China via connecting flights.

3.Considering the fact that Ben Gurion International Airport does not provide nucleic acid(PCR) and IgM antibody tests for transit passengers, the Chinese Embassy in Israel WILL NO LONGER issue HS/HDC Codes for passengers coming to Israel for transit to China.

4.Reminder
(1) In order to prevent infection from long-distance travel after testing, closed-loop quarantine before boarding must be conducted. Passengers are strongly recommended to take personal protection very seriously to avoid infection in travel to the departure city and during the stay before departure. Please minimize public contact after testing.
(2)The Chinese Embassy in Israel WILL NOT issue HS/HDC Codes to passengers who do not meet the requirements as mentioned above.
(3)To avoid the delay of your trip or incurred legal liabilities, passengers must make truthful statements while applying for the HS/HDC Codes. Those who report false information or conceal travel and residence history and health status will bear relevant legal responsibilities incurred.
